SPRINGFIELD — Last month’s successful cyberattack on MGM Resorts International cost the company — owners of MGM Springfield among other properties — $100 million, it said this week.

MGM is also providing customers with credit monitoring and identity protection services at no cost to them and in keeping with state and federal law. MGM has established a hotline for affected customers: 800-621-9437 toll-free Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central time, or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time, excluding major holidays. It asked callers to reference engagement number B105892 when calling.
