Five $100,000 lottery tickets won or claimed Thursday; one prize sold at this Market Basket

A Market Basket, a Mobil gas station and a 7-Eleven store were just a few of the lottery retailers in Massachusetts to sell $100,000 winning tickets on Thursday.

There were five total $100,000 prizes won or claimed on Jan. 4, with four won during the daily “Mass Cash” drawing. The winning numbers for the drawing were 4, 16, 22, 26 and 33.

All four “Mass Cash” prizes were won in Eastern Massachusetts. One was sold from the Market Basket in Woburn; another was sold at a 7-Eleven shop in Peabody.

The two other $100,000 tickets were sold at a Carribbean Market in Dorchester and at the Readville Mobil gas station in Hyde Park.

The fifth $100,000 lottery prize claimed on Thursday was from the “300X” scratch ticket game, and was sold at the Stop & Shop in Gloucester.

Overall, there were at least 704 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 15 in Springfield and 24 in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
