An Asian fusion eatery in Brookline is adding a rooftop deck one year after opening.
Esmai’s Restaurant & Bar will unveil the first roof deck in Coolidge Corner this September. A countdown to its opening can be found on the restaurant’s website.
Perched above 1306 Beacon St., the new 900-square-foot space will seat 45 people and feature tons of greenery and a vibrant floral décor, according to a press release.
The rooftop menu will feature an all-new lineup of Euro-Asian inspired small plates and a raw bar. Of course, diners can still order one of Esmai’s signature dishes — such as the Japanese milk bread or Pappardelle Pasta — or beverage from the restaurant’s acclaimed cocktail program.
The roof deck on the second floor of Esmai’s Restaurant & Bar will be open from 3-11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The space will be open only to those 21 and older after 7 p.m.
Esmai’s opened last summer, taking over the former space of Hops and Scotch. The all-day café and restaurant is owned by husband-wife duo David Ng and Mai Tran.
Named after the couple’s daughter, Esmai’s combines Tran’s Vietnamese heritage with Ng’s passion for Scottish and American whiskey.
