The season three mid-season premiere of “Fire Country” will air on Friday, Jan. 31.
The new episode will air at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Those without cable can watch the show for free through FuboTV or DirecTV Stream each offering a free trial to new users. Sling is another option for streaming the show, and promotional offers are available.
“Fire Country” follows Bode Donovan who is a young convict seeking redemption and joins an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California. He and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires.
“It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began. Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption,” according to a description from FuboTV.
In the new episode, “with the Chezem Valley fire blazing out of control, Bode and Audrey must find a way themselves. Manny risks his freedom for his missing daughter and Eve tries to protect her father and their family’s ranch.”
