Fan of ‘no bones day’? Here’s how you can meet Noodle the pug’s owner in Boston this week

Fans of the late social media star Noodle the pug will have a chance to meet his owner Jonathan Graziano in Boston on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

City Winery Boston will be holding “Live Noodz: A Life of Noodle” to celebrate Noodle’s life and Graziano’s ownership of the 14-year-old pug, who died on Dec. 2, 2022.

“Live Noodz is a celebration of Noodle, his life and times, his story with me, and the joys of caring for a geriatric king,” according to the event description. “The show will combine stand-up comedy, storytelling, and more. Expect never-before-told stories, exclusive photos and videos, audience participation, and a lot of laughs (… and maybe a few tears)!”

Noodle’s fame began in 2021 when Graziano posted morning videos on TikTok that showed the pug deciding it he was going to stand up or flop down on his dog bed, according to the AP’s obituary. This started the trend of “no bones day” if Noodle decided he was going to sleep in.

“He lived 14 and a half years, which is about as long as you can hope a dog can. And he made millions of people happy. What a run,” Graziano said in the emotional video.

Graziano wrote a children’s book featuring Noodle, called “Noodle and the No Bones Day,” in June 2022, according to publisher Simon & Schuster. On any given day when “Jonathan lifts Noodle up, Noodle just flops over. It’s almost like Noodle woke up without any bones,” the book description reads.

A second book is due to be published in November, called “Noodle Conquers Comfy Mountain,” also with Simon & Schuster.

General admission for City Winery’s upcoming event is $30, while stage premier VIP tickets cost $100. The VIP tickets include a post-show meet-and-greet and photo opp with Graziano, as well as a laminate signed by Graziano. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., where guests can dine before the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
