WESTFIELD — Westfield Pride, created in 2023 to celebrate, support and honor the LGBTQIA+ community of Westfield, is gearing up for a first-time family event in May and a month of celebrations and education in June for International Pride Month.
Kathi Bradford, president of Westfield Pride, said after she retired as the director of alumni relations at Westfield State University after 27½ years, she was looking for something more to do.
