A foliage expert on Tuesday said he believes leaves will begin changing color earlier than expected as a result of a long stretch with little to no rain in New England.
Jim Salge, writing in Yankee Magazine, said the lack of rain will speed up fall’s arrival as far as foliage is concerned.
