
Competing in the Sully Tournament, Milton and Attleboro found themselves tied at one run apiece headed into the bottom of the seventh.
With the Wildcats (4-3) at bat, Scott Longo stepped up to the plate. Longo has been a dual-threat player, showcasing his versatility at the mound and at the plate.
Leading up to the moment, the senior had pitched for five innings, allowing three hits for one run with six walks and 10 strikeouts. At bat, Longo already had one hit on the day.
In the seventh inning, he added another; bringing home a Milton runner and pushing Milton to a walk-off win, 2-1.
Harry Hinckle and Jack Naughton both scored during the game.
Milton will face North Quincy in the tournament championship on Thursday, April 24 at 6 p.m.
