SOUTH HADLEY — Russell Sawyer, owner of AllStar Dairy Foods in South Hadley, has been on the phone for most of the last two days trying to obtain eggs.
Customers visiting the store at Diemand Farm in Wendell have to wash their boots and shoes — a precaution to hopefully arrest the dreaded avian flu devastating flocks and crippling the egg industry.
