CHICOPEE — Every serve carried more weight and every point was celebrated harder inside the Chicopee Comprehensive High School gymnasium on Saturday as the No. 1 East Longmeadow girls volleyball team squared off against No. 2 Wahconah in the Western Mass. Class B finals.
Ultimately, it was the top-seeded Spartans that came out on top, sweeping Wahconah and claiming the sectional title. The set scores read 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.
