WESTFIELD — White Oak School at 533 North Rd. has a new greenhouse, thanks to Eagle Scout candidate Ames Alvarado of Troop 101 in Auburn, who is a student at the school.
Ames, who is 13 and lives in North Oxford, said he wanted to do a project that would help the school and the students in it to thrive. He said he has been attending White Oak for the past three years to help him with dyslexia and other learning-based issues.
