Dyson just kicked off its early Black Friday lineup, and the brand isn’t easing into things. The Dyson V12 Detect Slim, one of the most popular lightweight smart vacuums, is now $330 off, dropping the price from $730 to just $400. It’s one of the steepest markdowns the company has offered on this model.
Features
The Dyson V12 Detect Slim vacuum uses laser technology and intelligent sensors to detect and remove microscopic dust particles invisible to the naked eye, according to product specifications from the technology company.
The vacuum’s Fluffy Optic cleaner head features precisely angled light that reveals microscopic dust and particles on hard floors. A dust detect sensor counts particles up to 15,000 times per second, allowing the machine to automatically adjust suction power based on the amount of dust detected while optimizing battery life.
The device weighs 5.22 pounds and delivers 150 Air Watts of suction in MAX mode through a Dyson Hyperdymium digital motor that spins at up to 125,000 rpm. An LCD screen provides real-time feedback on what’s being removed, remaining run time, power mode, and machine alerts.
The vacuum’s seven-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to 60 minutes of run time, though actual duration varies based on power mode, dust levels, flooring type, and attachments used. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
The filtration system uses 11 cyclones to separate dust and debris, capturing 99.99% of microscopic particles down to 0.1 microns in Boost mode and at least 99.97% in other modes. The vacuum comes with both a Fluffy Optic cleaner head and a Motorbar cleaner head.
