Leading coffee liqueur brand Kahlúa is joining forces with Dunkin’ to introduce a new cream liqueur that combines both brands’ expertise in coffee-based beverages.
The Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur marks Dunkin’s first venture into cream liqueurs and represents Kahlúa’s largest investment in the cream liqueur category to date. The new product will become a permanent addition to Kahlúa’s liqueur lineup.
“Kahlúa is famous for great-tasting Espresso Martinis and now we’re stirring up everyday occasions with Dunkin’ for something special,” said Caroline Begley, vice president of marketing at Kahlúa.
The new cream liqueur features one of Dunkin’s most popular flavor combinations, blending caramel notes of toffee, vanilla and dulce de leche with coffee and chocolate undertones. The product combines Dunkin’s Caramel Swirl with Kahlúa’s signature rum and 100% Arabica coffee sourced from Veracruz, Mexico.
Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development at Dunkin’, described the collaboration as a fusion of “premium indulgence with everyday coffee culture.”
The product, which has already earned a Gold award from the International Wine & Spirit Competition for taste, can be served neat, chilled, or over ice. For an enhanced experience, the companies suggest pairing it with Dunkin’ Munchkins as a garnish.
The new Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur is now available at retailers nationwide.
