Nearly 70 city of Boston employees earned more than $300,000 in pay in 2023 — most of them police officers, according to the city’s salary data.
Though these employees’ earnings account for a tiny fraction of the $2.1 billion that went towards compensating nearly 26,000 city workers last year, it is worth noting that their pay alone cost the city nearly $23 million.
