WORCESTER – It took over 52 minutes for a goal, but once Dover-Sherborn got the first one in, that was all the Raiders needed to take home the Division-III boys soccer state championship. But it wasn’t all that Dover-Sherborn did on the rainy Friday for the title.
“It’s pretty sweet,” Dover-Sherborn coach Joe Grueseck said. “I’m so proud of these guys. I said from day one, the chemistry, the senior leadership, the attitude. These guys are truly brothers. They love each other. They play for each other.”
