A double shooting in Brockton left a woman and an underage boy injured Tuesday evening, according to Brockton police.
Brockton police responded to the shooting at 229 Battles Farm Drive around 5:30 p.m., a Brockton police spokesperson said. At the scene, they found the woman and boy who were injured by gunfire.
Emergency responders took both victims to a local hospital, the spokesperson said. They were both in stable condition and receiving treatment at the hospital as of Tuesday night.
The spokesperson did not mention any arrests in connection with the shooting. It is unclear if the woman and the boy have any relation to each other, or how badly they are injured.
No further information about the shooting has been released.
