Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a bike path in Milford Sunday morning.
Authorities began investigating the 39-year-old man’s death after a 911 caller requested a well-being check at the Louisa Lake disc golf course off the Upper Charles River Bike Path just after 7:50 a.m., Milford police said in a press release. Officers found the man’s body at the scene.
“There is no danger to the public. Milford Police Detectives, along with the Massachusetts State Police, had the area closed off for investigatory purposes, but there was no nefarious act,” Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino said in the release.
No further information, including the man’s identity, has been released.
