COLUMBUS, Ohio — Dash camera video shows the chaotic pursuit of two teenagers fleeing in a stolen car, WSYX reported.

The May 7 incident began when a Flock camera alerted Whitehall Police Department officers to a vehicle that was stolen in an aggravated robbery incident, according to the report. Detectives from the department followed the vehicle into Columbus, where Columbus police joined the pursuit.

Dash camera video released on May 11 shows the stolen gray Kia driving recklessly, making sudden U-turns in traffic and driving on the wrong side of the road. Multiple cruisers can be seen striking the vehicle as it continues to flee.

After driving recklessly on busy streets, the suspect vehicle turned down a neighborhood street that was under construction. Video shows pursuing officers weaving through traffic cones as dust clouds the air. Construction workers can be seen scrambling to move barricades to allow the officer to go through.

Video shows the suspect vehicle come to a stop after a pursuing officer performs a successful PIT maneuver. Several officers with guns drawn surrounded the driver and passenger and took them into custody.

A 14- and 16-year-old were arrested in the incident, according to the report. Records show that the suspect vehicle had been stolen at gunpoint.
