SPRINGFIELD — Lawyers for local and state police reached a settlement with a Chicopee man who says he was shocked with a Taser and wrongfully arrested while at the MGM in 2023.
Records filed in U.S. District Court show a settlement was reached Friday, though the terms of the settlement are not yet public.
Plaintiff Pavel Morozov said in a 2024 lawsuit that he and his brother were gambling at the downtown casino shortly after 10 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2023.
