HOLYOKE — A Springfield contracting company is suing New England Farm Workers’ Council for $80,000 for unpaid construction work, adding to the agency’s preexisting pile of debt.
The lawsuit was filed on Dec. 4 by Emery Development Ltd. in Hampden Superior Court. The claim involves an Italian palazzo-style, six-story building overlooking High and Dwight streets across from Holyoke City Hall.
