SOUTHWICK — Nearly two years after the Select Board approved accepting a state grant to pay for the design and permitting of a new road to connect Sam West Road with Hudson Drive, the engineering of it is largely done.
“The road has been designed in compliance with local and state regulations,” said April Doroski, a wetland scientist with Fuss & O’Neill, a Connecticut-based civil and environmental engineering firm that designed the proposed new road.
