WESTFIELD — Companies behind a major Westfield runway repair concede they failed to follow plans and will pay $1.37 million to settle a dispute.
Leah B. Foley, the U.S. attorney for Massachusetts, said three companies were hired more than a decade ago to rehab Runway 2-20 at the Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield.
