SPRINGFIELD — Bishop Talbert Swan II wants you to remember the Palestinian people.
It’s a nuanced position in a world — and topic — given to absolutes, Swan said. But it’s one he’s taken for years, citing his own faith and the words of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. as King spoke out against the war in Vietnam and the work of Nelson Mandela fighting against the apartheid regime in South Africa.
