Chipotle to release its first new dip in five years

Chipotle is bringing a “bold” new flavor to its menu.

The Mexican chain restaurant announced Monday that it will add its new Adobo Ranch to restaurants starting June 17, a release reported.

The Adobo Ranch features adobo pepper, sour cream and a unique blend of herbs and spices, which can be used in the chains burritos, bowls, salads, tacos and quesadillas.

Chipotle Rewards members only will get to try a free side of Adobo Ranch when it launches.

To try the dip for free, customers must enroll in Chipotle Rewards by 11 p.m. local time on Monday, June 16. New rewards members can also get a free side of guacamole.

The company said in its release that ranch is “a cultural phenomenon,” especially among Gen Z.

Ranch dips and dressings have surged in popularity, surpassing ketchup as American’s favorite condiment in 2024, the release added.

The new dip is Chipotle’s first new dip since the release of Queso Blanco in 2020.
