
WESTFIELD – Connecticut author Renata Bowers visited with preschoolers, kindergarteners and first graders across the city on Dec. 13 for a storytelling “Pajama Party” as part of a Title I family engagement literacy series.
Bowers’ children’s books are about a fiery red-headed girl named Frieda B. who uses her imagination and gets into conflicts, but learns how to resolve them, said Title I Supervisor Chris Tolpa. She said about 45 students and parents participated.
