HOLYOKE – The No. 8 Chicopee Comp boys’ basketball team faced an early-season setback when sophomore Xavier Kleps was sidelined with a broken wrist in their first game.
However, on Friday, the Colts (12-4) got a much-needed boost as Kleps made his return to the court. He fuelled the team with a burst of energy that powered them to a 73-53 victory over No. 3 Holyoke (12-3) on the road.
