CHESTER – The town wants fire and health inspectors to be provided with access into abandoned mill properties at 126 and 133 Middlefield Road, fearing safety problems.
Chester also wants a receiver appointed to clean up and possibly demolish parts of the old Hamilton Emery and Corundum Company, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday by town health officer Charlie Kaniecki.
