A Cape Cod woman has been charged with multiple animal cruelty charges after police say she stabbed and killed multiple sheep and left them to die in a barn full of dead animals.
On Tuesday, Nov. 26, police received a report of neglected sheep and dead animals at a home on Chatham Road in Harwich, according to the Harwich Police Department.
When they arrived at the property, the resident, Meredith Viprino, told officers she had killed the sheep that morning by stabbing them in the throat.
