Loryn Fitch was forced to transfer from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy due to its imminent closure. But the recent announcement that the campus would be bought by an alum and turned into different forms of housing brought with it a smile — and a small tinge of hope.
“It’s a running joke that me and my friends from ENC are all going to live in a 12-person apartment,” said Fitch, who is now a student at Gordon College. “So when I saw that it was getting turned into housing developments — I was like, we could live at ENC again!”
