Two people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a fight at a home in Cambridge early Christmas Day, according to the Cambridge Police Department.
Police responded to Howard Street at 3:20 a.m. Thursday for a report of a fight taking place, the department wrote on Facebook.
When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
The officers provided first aid to the two people until firefighters and medics arrived. The two people were taken to local hospitals, where they were being treated Thursday morning, the department said. Police did not publicly identify the victims.
Police said the fight took place at a gathering inside a home and was an isolated incident that posed no threat to the public.
