STARK COUNTY, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office has released body camera video of an incident involving a masked man with a knife, WKYC reported.

Deputies responded to calls about a person in a costume armed with a knife, according to the report. Upon arrival, the suspect brandished the knife at officers and fled on foot. The man ran onto a highway, endangering himself in passing traffic. Deputies stopped traffic to prevent a collision.

Video shows deputies working to de-escalate the situation as the man continued to flee. As he ran toward another busy street, deputies deployed a TASER, bringing him to the ground. He was arrested without further incident.

The man faces multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated menacing, one count of obstructing official business and resisting arrest, according to the report. He was also booked on outstanding warrants for aggravated drug possession and attempted grand theft.
