Buy a sub at Jersey Mike’s this March, donate to Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation

During the month of March, your sub could go above and beyond for people living with autism.

If you buy a sandwich at any Jersey Mike’s Subs in Massachusetts in March, you will have the option of donating money to the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.

Customers can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3 or $5 when placing their order at any one of Jersey Mike’s 36 locations in Massachusetts, the company said in a press release.

The initiative is part of Jersey Mike’s 14th Annual “March of Giving” campaign that supports local charities.

The campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 27 when all participating locations will give 100% of the day’s sales — not just the profits — to the Flutie Foundation.

“Jersey Mike’s is deeply committed to giving back, and our partnership will directly improve the lives of people with autism in local communities throughout New England,” said the Flutie Foundation’s Co-Founder Doug Flutie. “This month, Jersey Mike’s delicious subs will nourish us, so that people with autism and their communities can flourish.”

Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving has raised more than $88 million for local charities since the campaign launched in 2011. Jersey Mike’s hopes to surpass last year’s record-breaking national fundraising total of $21 million.

The promotion will apply to Jersey Mike’s 71 locations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont. A full list of participating stores can be found here.
