Brookline home invasion suspects found 2 months later, face several charges, police say

Two people believed to have been behind the masked home invasion in Brookline on July 18 were arrested by Brookline police Wednesday morning, police told MassLive.

The suspects were arraigned “just before lunch,” police said in the email. Though unidentified, they were charged with home invasion, conspiracy, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and larceny of $1,200.

At around 2:19 a.m. on July 18, police arrived at 45 Warren St. after receiving a report about an armed robbery, police said in a statement. Multiple masked suspects “forced entry to the residence and assaulted an occupant in the home,” police added.

“There is evidence that indicates a firearm was discharged during the incident,” police added.

Other information about how police found the two suspects was not immediately released.
