Boston Calling attendees will get to see the festival from a different perspective this weekend — a bird’s eye view from on top of a Ferris wheel.
Boston Calling, a music festival in Boston, is from Friday, May 24 until Sunday, May 26. People from all over the country will be coming to the city to enjoy more than 50 artists, including Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers and The Killers. There will also be more than 20 acts from the Northeast.
But there’s much more than just music.
There will also be more than 30 food vendors with options from smoked barbecue and pierogies, to sushi and shawarma.
And, of course, the Ferris wheel.
The Ferris wheel will be located near the Allianz Blue Stage, which will be on people’s left soon after entering the grounds.
Ferris wheel riders will also be supporting a charity.
“It will be hard to miss the Ferris Wheel at Boston Calling and riding it will go to a good cause,” the website states.
Proceeds from the rides benefit Music Drives Us, which works to keep music in schools. It was started by Massachusetts businessman Ernie Boch Jr.
“Boch, an avid musician and Berklee College of Music graduate, founded Music Drives Us to ensure that music will be taught in schools across New England for generations to come,” the nonprofit’s website states.
