WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Bobby Strange-Skribiski blasted a two-run home run and shortstop Micah Dolan made several web gems, but it was not enough to overcome a strong effort from Holden in a Massachusetts Little League Baseball sectional final Friday night at Ralph E. Sanville Memorial Field.
Holden starting pitcher Cam Ginnity kept Westfield off balance, tossing 5 1/3 innings of solid baseball and closer Luca Dellovo came in to strike out two batters to end the game, forcing a decisive winner-take-all-game on Saturday with a 6-3 win.
