WESTFIELD — The New England Chapter of Blue Star Families is welcoming all military families, active, reserve, guard, veteran or retiree, to the second annual Western Massachusetts “Blue Star Welcome Week,” on Sept. 25.
The Westfield event is part of a nationwide campaign to build a better sense of belonging and community for the men and women who serve, veterans and their families. There will be free coffee and goodies, free giveaways, and an opportunity to learn more about the services that Blue Star Families offers to military families. The event takes place 10 a.m. to noon at Starbucks, 9B Southampton Road, near the Massachusetts Turnpike exit in Westfield.
