Bills call ‘LeBron James’ audible, NBA star wants to know what it means

There’s been plenty of intriguing audible calls in the NFL from Peyton Manning’s “Omaha” to Tom Brady using “Rex Ryan” as one. That trend continued with Josh Allen and the Bills.

In the final two minutes of the first half of Buffalo’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, Allen was heard calling the “LeBron James” audible. The quarterback s, but the play resulted in an incomplete pass.

The call caught the attention of James — who picked the Bills to win before kickoff — and he took to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter to voice his curiosity.

“I wonder what that “LeBron James” audible Josh Allen yelled out meant,” James posted. “LOL.”

Despite the audible resulting in an incomplete the pass, the Bills were still able to score on the drive when Allen connected with Stefon Diggs for a 15-yard touchdown. It wasn’t a great trip across the pond for Buffalo, though. On top of losing 25-20 to the Jags, the Bills also lost linebacker Matt Milano to a leg and knee injury that will have him sidelined indefinitely — a week after losing cornerback Tre’Davious White to a torn Achilles.
