MILTON — It’s rare to see a team sustain nearly a decade of absolute dominance, but with their 69-21 win over Lincoln-Sudbury in the MIAA Division I girls rugby state championship on Saturday afternoon, Belmont has established themselves as the premier girls rugby team in the state.
Since the MIAA recognized girls rugby as a varsity sport in 2015, there’s been one team consistently dominating the field: Belmont.
