The top two teams stay locked in place this week’s Bay State softball power rankings. Although they lost to Hopkinton 11-3, Newton North is still undefeated in conference play and holds a plus-53 run differential overall.
With a 10-0 win over Pembroke on Monday, Weymouth won its second game in a row to stay put at No. 2.
The Raiders are the biggest risers this week, jumping to No. 3 after two wins last week. They face a major test in the No. 4 Timberwolves to start next week.
Needham also moves up in these rankings with a three-game winning streak.
Milton, and Natick both continue to struggle after strong starts to the year.
