Needham is back in action against Natick on Friday, while Newton North will try to bounce back against a strong Walpole team, also on Friday.
Despite a loss to Everett, Brookline held firm at No. 3, with its only conference losses so far this year coming against Needham (65-55) and Newton North (70-58). The team’s next game is on Friday against Braintree.
Braintree slid up a spot despite dropping back to back games against Newton North and Norwell. The Wamps traded places with Wellesley after the Raiders dropped a game, 69-44, against Lincoln-Sudbury on Wednesday. The program will try to bounce back against Weymouth on Friday before it takes on Braintree the following Tuesday.
