For the last six seasons, a Bay State Conference team has been in the Division I boys soccer state finals, twice taking home the crown in that span.
Last year, it was the Carey Division’s Newton North who shocked the state, taking the title as the No. 31 seed. On the Herget side of the conference, four teams made the state tournament, with Weymouth grabbing the No. 3 seed in Div. I.
