Riding a five-game winning streak, the Raiders keep the top spot in this week’s Bay State baseball power rankings. Below Wellesley, the table has shuffled quite a bit.
Also winners of five in a row, Braintree moves up to No. 2. With wins over Needham and Attleboro, Milton gets above .500 and takes the third spot.
After losing two in a row, the Redhawks slide to fourth. Weymouth is another team moving up thanks to wins over Walpole and Wachusett last week.
Losses to the Wildcats and Xaverian Hawks sends the Timberwolves sliding a bit, down to sixth.
The Warriors have won two-straight but stay in the seventh slot this week.
On Wednesday, Newton South will play their first game in a. week, heading to Newton South for a rivalry rematch.
After beating Walpole, Needham struggled in back-to-back games, falling to Milton and Braintree.
On Tuesday night, Framingham earned its first win of the season, 6-4 over Holliston.
