Game of the week: Wellesley at Braintree, May 7 at 4 p.m.

After being shutout for the first time in two years on Wednesday, Braintree got right back to scoring on Friday, beating Milton 10-6.

The Redhawks, who blanked the Wamps, move to No. 2 in this week’s Bay State Conference baseball power rankings thanks to the victory.

Going 2-1 last week and only following to St. John’s Prep, Weymouth moves up to the three spot.

After falling to Weymouth on Monday for their third loss in four games, Wellesley dips a bit to No. 5.

Though they haven’t played in a week, the Timberwolves are on a three game winning streak, and wins over the Raiders and Warriors bumps them up to fourth.

Brookline drops to sixth with the loss to Walpole. Also moving down this week is Newton North who fell to Milton last Wednesday.

With the win over the Tigers and mostly tight contest with the Wamps, the Wildcats move up one spot to No. 7.
