Arts Beat: Former first lady, reborn satire troupe bring politics to stage

“Flight of the Monarch,” a new play by Great Barrington Public Theater’s Jim Frangione, has its world premiere at Shakespeare & Company through Aug. 25. The UMass Fine Arts Center has announced a robust 2024-25 season in several venues in Amherst.
