NBC’s Emmy Award-winning late-night comedy showcase “Saturday Night Live” returns for its 51st season of laughs, surprises and standout performances.

The iconic sketch show features celebrity hosts who join an award-winning ensemble cast to perform comedic sketches, satirical news and digital shorts, alongside popular musical acts.

SNL recently made changes to its cast. Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim and Ego Nwodim have all left “SNL.” The show also split up the sketch comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy, as Martin Herlihy moves to the writing staff and John Higgins leaves the show, Variety reported.

Returning cast members include Kenan Thompson, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Bowen Yang, Marcello Hernández, Sarah Sherman, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman and James Austin Johnson.

Newcomers include Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson and Veronika Slowikowska.

Bowen Yang is set to leave SNL during Saturday’s new episode.

Yang joined the show as a writer in 2018 ahead of Season 44 and joined the cast ahead of Season 45, before being promoted to repertory status ahead of Season 47.

In Saturday’s new episode, “Wicked For Good” star Ariana Grande will host for her third time and Cher will perform as the musical guest.

NBCUniversal channels went dark on Fubo on November 21 as the two were unable to come to an agreement to renew their carriage deal.

There currently is no update on when the channels will be returning to Fubo, but they are “diligently working with NBCU in good faith to bring these channels back.”
