Angry Bruins forward wins one-sided fight rematch

BOSTON — One fight wasn’t enough for Mark Kastelic and Robert Bertuzzo.

The Bruins forward and Utah defenseman, who paired off for punches in the first period, renewed their unpleasntries in the second period.

Bortuzzo, who jumped off the bench to pick the first fight, hit Kastelic with an elbow in the Utah zone. This time Kastelic initiated the scrap, grabbing Bortuzzo and they went at it again.

Like the first fight, a stick got caught between them again, but it didn’t slow Kastelic, who flung his gloves with such force that the right one landed about 20 yards away. The Bruins forward was clearly angry and continued punching even after Bortuzzo started to go down before the officials jumped in.

Kastelic got an extra two minutes for roughing that the Bruins killed off. Bortuzzo, who had just six penalty minutes coming in, had 10 through two periods.

It was the first time a Bruin got into two fights in a game this season.
