NORTHFIELD — On a brisk fall Saturday at Northfield Mountain, MIAA Division II cross country teams came together for the divisional qualifier, which leads into next weekend’s state championships. The meet was split into three waves and six total races were held.
As runners finished the hilly course, tears of joy and anguish fell with state championship qualification on the line.
