PWHL Boston’s Aerin Frankel made a save in the fifth round of a shootout against Ottawa on Saturday to lead Boston to a win, 2-1. Frankel finished the game with 25 saves on 26 shots.
Hilary Knight scored Boston’s only regulation goal 3:05 into the first period to open the scoring. Megan Keller and Hannah Brandt each had assists. Twelve minutes later, Ottawa tied the score with an unassisted goal from Emily Clark.
