A trip to a gas station resulted in one lucky person winning $1 million on Friday.
A $1 million prize from a scratch ticket called “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” was sold at Nouria associated with a Shell Station in Littleton, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The “$4,000,000 Bonus Bucks” game has three $4,000,000 grand prizes and eight $1,000,000 prizes. Two of the $4,000,000 prizes have been won and five of the $1,000,000 prizes have been won. Odds of winning a $4,000,000 prize are 1 in 5,376,000 while odds of winning a $1,000,000 prize are 1 in 2,016,000. The ticket costs $10.
The prize was the largest prize won in the state that day.
Overall, there were 652 prizes sold or claimed in the state worth $600 or more, including 21 in Springfield, 12 in Worcester and 65 in Boston.

So far, the four largest lottery prizes won in Massachusetts in 2024 were all $4 million prizes. One was claimed on Tuesday, Jan. 16, another was claimed on Tuesday, Feb. 27, a third was claimed on Tuesday, March 19 and the fourth was claimed on Thursday, April 4.
