Pelham School Committee member Tom Fanning, who was formerly on the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee, has resigned effective Tuesday, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
Fanning did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
That brings the total number of high profile resignations to six in Amherst and Pelham, which has been roiled over a controversy involving allegations of staff mistreatment of transgender students at Amherst Regional Middle School.
